Lee Reich will be speaking on “The Science, Art, Fun and Tasty Fruit of Esapliers”. Learn which plants work best as espaliers and the theory and practice involved in bending and pruning branches to train and maintain the plants. His farmden has been featured in such publications as the New York Times and Martha Stewart Living, has won awards from National Gardening and Organic Gardening magazines, and has been included in “Open Days” tours of the Garden Conservancy. Lee’s aim is to get everyone’s hands in the dirt. It‘s good fun, pleases the senses, stirs the blood and provides a window into the natural world, Some of his books include Uncommon Fruits for Every Garden, Landscaping with Fruit, and Grow Fruit Naturally and provides a window into the natural world.. He writes regularly for a number of gardening magazines and his syndicated gardening column for Associated Press appears biweekly from coast to coast.
